Howard Anderson was able to drive around Mitch Chamberlin in the final, setting top speed of the meet with a 6.91 at 203.98 over Mitch's 6.99 with seven pistons still in motion.
Gary Reinero paced first round of qualifying with a 6.90. Unfortunately Gary paid a price for performance to the right as he looks over some scorched pistions.
In the second round of qualifying Scott White took the pole with a 6.84 at 202
