 Here is how drivers accumulate points:

Each driver receives 100 points for attending and driving in an association race

Drivers receive points based on where they qualify in the field, 80 points for first, 70 for second.....to 10 for eighth.

First round out drivers receive 300 points

Second round out drivers receive 500 points

Runner-up receives 700 points

Race champion receives 900 points 

Drivers attending all AA/S races receive a 471 point bonus at the end of the season
